Elaine is our Program Director creating  campaigns, programs and projects to support our orginization in helping impacted communities stand up against polluting industries.     We  offer a list of  available presentations to address the harm and effects of living near these impacted areas.  We come to the aid of communities taking on organizing against social and environmental injustices. Jimmy W. Hall Sr. Chairman of the Board Treasurer

Jimmy had plans to retire  on a mountain in SE Kentucky.  The home of generations before him.  When the day came to hook the water  up his environmental justice radar went up and it was game on.  First water for his  community then on to finding FriendsForEJ in need.

Aaron Hall Vice Chairman of the Board

Aaron relocated his family from the Lake Erie region to NW Kentucky to secure employment.  They moved to  a small farm where he enjoys enjoys   farming creating a  sustainable lifestyle leaving less of a carbon footprint behind.  Aaron and Nikki bring music to the movement inspiring others to do something that will leave a positive effect on the world around them.  Aaron.ffej@gmail.com

Nikki Hall Board of Directors State Registar

Nikki lives on a small farm with her husband and three near grown children  in the rolling hills of NW Kentucky.  A focus on agriculture and sustainable living while raising a family helps secure a  future for these next generations teaching the life  skills needed to surrive  all the while protecting the environment.   Nikki.ffej@gmail.com

Russell Oliver Board of Directors Parliamentarian

Russell has always lived in Hazard Kentucky working to help bridge between mining and the environmental impacts he  seen in his many years and an activist.  We value his words of wisdom he brings to the table as our parliamentarian.  Russell.ffej@gmail.com 

Eric King Board of Directors Community Organizer

Eric born and stayed in Appalachia as many generations before him.  Having a board member living at ground zero  in SE Kentucky helps us  keep on top of water quality and legacy mining pollution issues.     A background in media and marketing brings a fresh look to media and  messaging.  Eric.ffej@gmail.com

Ruth Pritt Executive Board of Directors Secretary

Ruth comes to us from NC Ohio after retiring from a 30 year career as a social worker counceling troubled children.   For the past few years she spent volunteering at a local clothing bankbank.  She held  seat on the local board at Habitat for Humanity which  prepared her for a place on the FFEJ executive board taking on the role of secretary.  Ruth.ffej@gmail.com

Maria Montanez Board of Directors Community Organizer Media

Meet Maria.  Living in NE Ohio she is in place to organize communities against frackwaste injection wells and informing  people on the many ways extractive industries have harmed her community.  She comes to us with ties to mountain communities and  familia understand of cultural connections between social and environmental justice.  Maria.ffej@gmail.com
